Video Editor Need For Busy Marketing Company

Hello,

We are currently searching for a video editor to assist our creative team with the editing of videos we shoot at our company. We shoot videos for ourselves and for clients.

Currently we shoot a daily video (already at almost 600 completed episodes) M-F and also many different content video for our website and online marketing.

We also shoot and edit videos for many many local businesses. Everything from short Q&A social media videos to full fledged 30 minute sales videos.

Due to our success, we are now shooting a lot of videos and our creative director is becoming bogged down by all the editing. We believe that we can provide the right person with a great long term job and help them grow as our team grows.

We are interested in someone who can dedicate at least part time work, if not full time work. You must be proficient in video editing (Adobe Premiere and After Effects) and have the creative ability to make videos interesting with graphics, music etc.

This job is for someone with some experience already doing this. We are happy to help you and teach you but you must already have some skills in this field.

You must have a solid computer (good processing power) and internet connection to make this job work effectively. If hired you would work closely with our creative director to carry out our vision on the videos. We have so many examples we can share.

We also want someone who can be creative and make our videos better. We are open to your ideas and your thoughts on video editing. We are very inclusive and if you have a better idea, we will go with it.

We need someone who can accomplish the task with little direction/management. You must be a self-starter and be able to be trusted.

A few requirements for the job:

-- This will be either a part time or full time 40/hr a week position.

-- We ask all our team members who are not in the office to use timeproof because we have to have accountability to our clients who we bill hourly.

-- You will be required to be online during our office hours so we can communicate about our projects and clients.

-- We pay every 2 weeks. Most of our remote workers in your country prefer Xoom, but I can pay with Paypal too.

-- You will become part of our team, not just a contract outsourcer. Since this is potentially full time you would only be able to work for me. I can't have you working 2 jobs or anything like that.

Here are a few questions that we would like answers to as part of your application:

1. What editing software do you use? Have you used other ones that you are proficient in?
2. How would we get you files? What do you believe would be the best way to send you video files for editing?
3. Have you done this type of job in the past remotely?
4. Please include examples of your various types of work for us to review. Basically your editing reel or portfolio.
