Hello, our company is looking for a qualified transcriber (audio/video) who is computer literate. Must have excellent organizational skills and an ability to think on his or her feet.

This is a virtual assistant job, meaning that the job can be performed from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.

Fluent in understanding/writing both languages English & French. (No fluent voice conversation required -- only good understanding, and of course writing).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The assistant will be responsible for transcribing audio/video material (not for subtitle purposes, just transcription in a OpenOffice doc.

There will be 2 kind of transcriptions=

1. Directly from FR to FR: Transcribing French-speaking content from audio or video

1. From EN to FR: Transcribing & translating in French -- English-speaking content from audio or video

This entails ensuring that jobs are completed to satisfaction for both parties.
