Job Description

Reporting directly to the finance director of the firm, in this role you will use your accounting knowledge, IT and technology expertise to deliver highly efficient and optimised information solutions across our client portfolio. The position also drives continuous improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and control for accounting and other business processes and systems.
Your role will be to:
- support our team on the understanding, implementation and maintenance of our clients financial systems and applications
- understand the various software platforms our clients use.
- improve and driving process improvements, streamlining workflows:
- data mine to extract, collate, transform and interpret data to provide financial information for effective reporting.
- Assist with software implementation of new systems for clients.
- Asist the practice in its internal IT and practice management software function
- Understand the various off the shelf accounting platforms available to SME. Specifically, XERO and its apps; and MYOB
- Lead and project manage the process, understanding and implementation of AI for the firm and its clients.

- A degree in accounting, finance, information systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in a diverse systems accountant role.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in financial systems and applications. Xero, MYOB with experience, preferred in ERP systems.
- Understanding of AI as an emerging technology
- Software Implementation experience preferred but not essential.
- Data analysis and mining
- Communication both written and spoken skills expected of a Chartered Accounting firm, as you will be front facing with clients and the firm’s executive.
