Job Description
We are seeking a Freelance WordPress Developer. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and creatives to ensure project success. The position offers an estimated workload of 30-40 hours per week with the opportunity for more if you wish.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicating realistic deadlines through Slack
- Develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch
- Deliver projects on-time and on-budget
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs
- Optimize WordPress websites for speed and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues
- Perform quality assurance checks and identify potential issues

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a WordPress developer
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong understanding of WordPress technology
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Self-sufficient, organized, and solution-focused
- Solid project management and resource management skills
- Familiarity with WordPress development, including plugin and theme customization
- Knowledge of WordPress APIs, hooks, and filters
- Understanding of WordPress security best practices
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Git version control
- Understanding of staging, development, and production environments
- Information architecture and UX experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with digital marketing and/or design is a plus
