Job Title: Part-Time Remote Animator for Animated Podcast Reels

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Part-Time Remote Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will be responsible for creating short, engaging animated reels from our podcast episodes, suitable for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Responsibilities:

Create 15-60 second animated reels from podcast audio clips.
Interpret podcast content and creatively translate it into visually appealing animations.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure the animations align with the podcast's tone and branding.
Ensure animations are optimized for various social media platforms.
Edit and refine animations based on feedback from the team.
Maintain a consistent style and quality across all animated reels.
Manage project timelines and deliver animations on schedule.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an animator with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in animation.
Strong graphic design skills and a good eye for aesthetics.
Familiarity with social media platforms and the types of content that perform well.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on animations accordingly.
Experience creating content specifically for podcasts or similar audio media.
Knowledge of audio editing and syncing animation with audio.
Understanding of current trends in social media content and digital marketing.
