JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic Australian e-commerce company looking for a talented and motivated Virtual Assistant with experience in Shopify and graphic design. We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual who can help us manage our online store and grow our online presence, while also creating visually compelling graphics for email marketing, social media, website and marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

Shopify Management:
Maintain and update our Shopify store, ensuring all content is accurate and up-to-date.
Add and manage product listings, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory.
Optimise the website for SEO and user experience.
Create purchase orders
Track and report on inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.

Data Entry:
Accurately input data related to product listings, customer information, and sales reports.
Maintain organised records of all data entries and ensure data integrity.

Website Design:
Assist in designing and updating website layout and structure.
Implement new design features and functionalities to improve user experience.
Collaborate with the team to create visually appealing and on-brand pages.

Product Entry:
Upload new products to the Shopify store, ensuring all information is correct.
Monitor and update product availability and details as needed.
Work with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions and promotions.

Graphic Design:
Create engaging visual content for the website, social media, and marketing campaigns.
Design product images, banners, and other graphic elements.
Develop visually appealing email marketing materials, including newsletters and promotional pamphlets.
Design and format marketing pamphlets, brochures, and other print materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics for email campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand and optimised for different devices.
Ensure all graphic materials align with the brand’s visual identity and standards.

Requirements:
Proven experience working with Shopify, including website management, inventory management and product entry.
Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Understands website design principles and user experience.
Experience with purchase order management and inventory tracking.
Skilled in graphic design with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva or similar.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
Strong analytical skills to track and report on website performance metrics.
