We are a boutique web design and marketing agency located in Canada, that are passionate about helping our clients grow their businesses online. We serve a wide range of clients including home services, landscaping, plumbing, and real estate.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced Web / WordPress expert to join our team. This expert is responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress and HTML websites. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6+ years of experience with Web and WordPress, specifically using Elementor page builder.

They should be committed to a common goal of providing high-quality websites to our clients and solving technical problems with high attention to detail. They should be ready and willing to get great satisfaction from serving our audience and become an integral part of our creative team.

This is a remote or work-from-home role and would ideally suit someone seeking a 20 hour a week position. With the right candidate, we will grow this position in the New Year to include more hours.

The standard work hours will be roughly 2 hours a day. We are located in North America, so the work shift will occur between either 9pm until 1am or 6am till 10am Philippine standard time, with some flexibility, so we can communicate as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job will be to use your past experience to:

- Develop and maintain custom and sometimes complex WordPress websites
- Build websites using Elementor page builder from provided mock-ups and apply CSS/coding customizations as needed
- Code HTML websites from scratch or customize existing themes
- Install and configure plugins for client websites (WordPress)
- Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress)
- Add features and support ongoing requests from clients (through our ticket center)
- Setup hosting accounts, staging sites and deploy websites or changes as needed
- Work to resolve issues related to client websites and hosting
- Assist in ongoing improvements to website speed, performance and security
- Troubleshoot, debug and support urgent bug requests
- Thoroughly test features and bug fixes, using a variety of browsers and devices to ensure workability
- Ongoingly document website functionality changes within our system
- Have strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction

EXPERIENCE
You should have a **minimum** of 6+ years of web development, WordPress and WooCommerce experience. Experience building WordPress sites using Elementor page builder, including;

- HTML5 / CSS3
- Elementor
- Basic Adobe Photoshop ability (and own license)
- Understanding ManageWP is an asset
- Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.
- PHP/Javascript is an asset

You should also be comfortable using internal communication and collaboration software like Zoom, Clickup, Loom and Slack, and having regular video meetings. You should also be able to juggle many different tasks and requests simultaneously, have a problem-solving attitude and have great attention to detail.

However, we will train you regarding our systems, our products, and our customers so you can apply your skills to help us achieve our mission. We will also support you and encourage you in any way we can.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE
This is a part-time hourly pay role and we're not looking for an agency or applicants outside of the Philippines.
