Roofing Estimator

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Commercial Roofing Estimator. As part of our team, you will generate detailed cost-analysis and scope of work estimates using historical data, contractor quotes, and site surveys. You provide clients and stakeholders with thorough explanations of pricing and cost details based on gathered data and supported with further estimates of projected maintenance costs and expected product lifetime. Our ideal candidate has extensive prior experience in commercial roofing, consulting, and cost estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate detailed cost estimates of commercial roofing projects
Scrutinize requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to attain comprehensive project understanding.
Identify key production factors impacting cost.
Keep abreast of current market prices for materials within the estimating system.
Generate comprehensive job cost reports.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
Facilitate seamless hand-off meetings with assigned project managers.
Deliver prepared estimates to management.


Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient organizational skills and adept at prioritizing workflows.
Experience in analyzing requirement data to formulate material and cost estimates for residential projects.
Competence in reading and interpreting technical documents.
Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer usage.
Knows TPO, EPDM, EPDM, and estimating experience with Take Offs, EDGE, or other related software
