Senior Auditor - External Audit

AMW Audit Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time audit senior to join our team.

This role would suit a qualified professional with experience in external audit, looking for an opportunity to progress their career in an Australian chartered accounting firm. Your main duties will include working on a portfolio of audit clients through planning, execution and reporting. Working directly with a senior manager you will have the opportunity to move up the ranks and become responsible for your own team and portfolio of clients.

About you:
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
A strong academic record, including a degree and completed a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA);
5 or more years’ experience in external audit;
Experience in leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
Excellent communication skills;
Competent in various software packages including, Microsoft Office (CaseWare knowledge would be an advantage);
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to work autonomously and/or work effectively in a team environment;
Some knowledge would be an advantage of the Corporations Act 2001, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards, ACNC Act, CATSI Act, Associations Act and other applicable legislation; and
Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
