ABOUT TRAVEL AGENT HAVEN

Travel Agent Haven is a safe place for travel agents.

We help travel agents make more money so they can make a bigger difference.

The rest of the industry stops at that first part - making more money.

But we go beyond that.

We show our agents how to think bigger - and beyond commissions.

This leads to them:
* Providing for their households
* Transforming their local communities
* Starting global movements

We provide coaching, courses, and intentional communities to support agents as they learn, grow and scale.


ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a creative and experienced content manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the world of travel blogging, online host travel agencies, and the coaching industry.

To avoid a potential conflict of interest, we cannot hire a travel agent for this role.

Though we’re hiring for a part-time freelancer, we really want for the person we hire to be a part of our team - so we’re looking for someone who can get along with all kinds of personalities.

We’re also looking for someone who is quick to respond via platforms like email and Slack - as well as someone who’s familiar with projects in Asana.

We currently serve over 80 travel agents directly, and thousands of travel agents indirectly through our content. So there’s plenty of room for us to grow together.

We expect to hire for 4-8 hours of work per month at first, though this amount will increase dramatically before, during, and right after launches.
Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities for this position:

CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Edit video, audio, and text using Descript
Manage and update content calendar - gathering content from other when needed
Create and update a content database for content publishing and repurposing
Organize and manage branded assets and content assets for creation

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
Create, manage, and streamline projects in Asana
Research and organize data collected from launch campaigns
Synthesize data, create reports, and present reports with said data
Other duties and tasks as assigned

PINTEREST MANAGEMENT
Develop a Pinterest marketing strategy based on current, best practices
Keep our Pinterest profile optimized for traffic, leads, and sales
Conduct keyword research to identify popular search terms and trends on Pinterest
Create eye-catching profile graphics and banners
Writing keyword-rich profile descriptions
Design scroll-stopping pins using Canva, Midjourney, and our original photos
Writing compelling pin descriptions with relevant keywords
Monitoring Pinterest analytics to track the performance
Make and optimize Pinterest boards around relevant themes and topics

YOUTUBE CHANNEL MANAGEMENT
Develop a YouTube marketing strategy based on current, best practices
Optimize our channel account for search, growth, and engagement
Upload videos to our YouTube channel
Repurpose Reels and TikToks into YouTube Shorts
Perform keyword research for video titles
Choose keyword rich YouTube video titles
Create engaging, high-contrast thumbnail images that stop the scroll
Write keyword-rich descriptions that meet the objective of each video
Manually respond to comments within 24 hours Mon-Fri
Refer travel booking leads to our team of travel agents
Refer coaching leads to Travel Agent Haven
Manage flow of leads for retreats, courses, memberships, and meetups
Manage opportunities related to affiliate marketing, ads, and sponsored content
Add published YouTube podcast episode links to content database
Add published YouTube video links to content database

PODCAST MANAGEMENT
Repurpose YouTube podcast playlist episodes into Spotify for Podcasters
Edit in Descript as needed for audio-only platforms
Edit audio-only episodes using Audacity
Do keyword research for podcast episode planning
Write keyword-rich podcast episode descriptions
Use keywords to create catchy podcast episode titles
Add published podcast episode links to content database

BLOG MANAGEMENT
Use transcript from YouTube videos and podcast episodes to create blog posts
Use A.I. tools to edit and revise blog posts for spelling, grammar, and formatting
Perform keyword research for ranking and optimization
Use headline analyzer to write a catchy and optimized title
Use given plugins to optimize blog posts for search
Use brand assets like photos, videos, and podcasts to make original, helpful content


Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also have:
Streamlined systems and processes for long-form content management
Workflows for lead generation with long-form content
The desire to truly be a part of their client’s team
Daily availability to respond quickly
Native-level fluency in the English language
Strong time management skills
High-speed internet connection
