This dynamic role might be perfect for you. Expect a hybrid role of video editing, meeting client communications, organizing files, quality assurance, team communication working with a large creative team and real estate agents.

We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, detail-obsessive, communicative, and responsible for the core function of our real estate photo/video business. We provide continued training and career advancement opportunities as a growing company.

SUMMARY
A Video Editor (VE) is responsible for making sure they are completing 2-3 projects a day - not only does the video editor have to be efficient but each editor is responsible for their quality control before delivering each project to our clients. You will be making sure you are checking our project management/communication systems (Slack/Tonomo) for project updates and communicating with the Project Manager(s) and the Operations Department to ensure that all assets are approved for final delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Edit 2-3 videos a day.
Communicate with clients for music choice (if needed).
Collaborate with Operations & Project Management Department.
Move projects from in-progress to completed on both HDPhotoHub & Monday.
Create and add animated text and motion graphics to branded videos.
Upload videos to Dropbox and Vimeo.
Occasionally upload videos to clients’ websites and send out deliverables to the clients.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong collaboration skills, team-focused.
Comfortable with Final Cut Pro
Strong creative mind to work alone and deliver results.
Ability to simplify communication (verbally and as a visual storyteller).
Understand deliverables across multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
Attention to detail.
Consult/review with internal and external partners to ensure the proper goal is being met.
Selecting music and editing music to ensure we deliver the desired emotion.
Finalizing technical aspects to ensure quality and accurate delivery format.
Troubleshooting with color or any technical issues on editing software(s).
Basic understanding of audio mixing and sound design.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

5-6 years of experience in Office Administration, Operations, or related discipline.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

EARNING POTENTIAL

Salary Range: $15,000-$25,000
Annual performance-based raises of 6-12% and Objective/Key Results annual bonus of 10%
Commission opportunities of 10% on new clients

WORK HOURS
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Minimum requirements average at 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Work hours are dependent on the needs of the business and the completion of projects. Some days may require more than 8 hours with overtime opportunities. Limited weekend availability may be required. Our standard operating hours are from Monday-Sunday, 9:00 am EST to 6:00 pm EST.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
2-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative assistance, or supervisory role required
