Senior Video Editor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our team. As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the post-production process, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring that our video content meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the full range of editing works from splicing to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
Meet with clients to create the desired vision for the video production.
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to alter the video digitally.
Ensure the production follows a logical sequence.
Consult with the Client, Director, and production team throughout the project.
Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications.
Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes, and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product.
Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
Adhere to voice and messaging specifications for animated pieces.
Accurately use company branding assets (including colors, fonts, etc.) to:
Develop completed and high-quality animations in a timely manner.
Develop expressive images and videos for clients.
Sync visuals with audio and voiceover tracks.
Prepare all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats.
Enhance animation with special effects at the post-production stage.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
Experience in using Canva or similar graphic design tools.
Solid understanding of cinematography, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
