Nautical Staffing is looking for a Business Development Representative who will work for our California-based client that offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other services.
Responsibilities:
• Build new and develop existing business relationships (e.g., doctor's offices, daycare centers, nurseries, schools, insurance companies, etc.)
• Conduct warm calls, obtain referrals, and set up appointments
• Develop marketing tools/materials to be shared with clients
• Manage the pipeline and document the goals and projects
• Act as the owner's extension and representative
• Take ownership of the role and be able to make business decisions
• Be ready for role expansion and potential promotion
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in business development and appointment setting is required
• Outstanding communication and relationship building skills are required
• Must have management/leadership potential
• Must be responsive, organized, and unafraid of rejections
• Must be okay with working either 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm (US Pacific time)
