Video Editor for Youtube and Tiktok

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content for our YouTube and TikTok channels. The focus will be on gaming topics, as well as AI and data-related content. This includes daily clips from larger stream videos for TikTok, as well as more curated long-form content for YouTube. The current games of interest include 7 Days to Die, Helldivers 2, Fallout 76, and Star Citizen.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:
Edit daily TikTok clips from longer gaming stream videos, focusing on grabbing the most engaging and fascinating Upgrade to see actual infonts.
Curate and edit longer-form YouTube content with a purpose on gaming, AI, or data topics.
Ensure that all videos maintain a consistent style and organisation.

Video Production:
Cut and edit footage from live streams and other sources to create captivating short-form content for TikTok.
Develop engaging YouTube videos with clear narratives and mental imprints, leveraging creative storytelling to captivate the audience.
Add relevant graphics, animations, and effects to enhance the quality and appeal of videos.

Content Optimisation:
Continuously test and refine editing strategies to optimise viewership and engagement, utilising data insights to drive decisions.
Multi-purpose content for different platforms, leveraging each video's unique importance to reach a broader audience.

Collaboration:
Work closely to align on content themes and strategies.
Incorporate feedback to enhance the final output.
Requirements:

Technical Skills:
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Experience with graphic design and animation software (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
Familiarity with gaming, AI, and data topics, with the ability to leverage frame of reference and transparency in storytelling.

Creative Skills:
Strong storytelling abilities with a fascination for creating engaging narratives.
Ability to think creatively and develop high-concept ideas that resonate with our audience.
Familiarity with TikTok and YouTube trends and best practices.
