Virtual Rockstar is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our client’s physical therapy team. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s practice by managing various administrative tasks remotely.

Responsibilities:
Organize and update patient files accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients prior to appointments.
Work with insurance providers to obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatments and procedures.
Ensure patient files are updated with accurate insurance information.
Communicate with insurance companies to clarify coverage details and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor the status of pending insurance claims and follow up as needed.
Proactively follow up on unpaid claims to ensure timely payment.
Review denied claims, identify reasons for denial, and prepare appeals as necessary.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using virtual communication tools such as email, chat, and video conferencing.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with insurance billing processes is a plus.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
