Web Designer

Schedule: M-F (will work on weekends if needed)
Working Hours: 20hours/week (eventually, the hours will increase)

Position Overview:
The Web Designer / Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs for websites and digital platforms. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to produce designs that effectively communicate the desired message and enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop website layouts, user interfaces, and graphics using industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or similar software.
2. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with web developers, content creators, and other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently.
4. Optimize designs for various screen sizes, devices, and browsers to ensure a consistent and responsive user experience.
5. Stay updated on design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
6. Interpret client requirements, brand guidelines, and project objectives to deliver designs that align with the organization's goals and values.
7. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and refine design solutions accordingly.
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
9. Communicate effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the design process.
10. Maintain a strong attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality designs that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience as a web designer, graphic designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.
3. Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and familiarity with web design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
4. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience (UX) design principles.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges and limitations.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects and priorities.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets project requirements and client expectations.
9. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is a plus, but not required.
10. A passion for design, creativity, and innovation, with a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field of web and graphic design.
