JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:

Prospecting: Conduct research to identify potential clients within the target market segments. Use various sources such as online directories, social media, and industry databases to gather contact information.

Outbound Calls: Initiate outbound calls to prospects using a prepared script or talking points. Introduce the company's products/services, identify the decision-makers, and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.

Lead Qualification: Engage in conversation with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points. Determine if there is a genuine interest in the products/services and evaluate the potential for a sales opportunity.

Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments or demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads. Coordinate with the sales representatives to ensure smooth handover of information and preparation for scheduled meetings.

Follow-up: Maintain a follow-up schedule to nurture leads that are not yet ready to commit. Keep detailed records of interactions, update CRM systems with relevant information, and track progress toward conversion.

Feedback and Reporting: Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding the quality of leads, effectiveness of messaging, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports on key metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, and lead quality.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or cold calling, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport over the phone.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and tracking.
