**Job Responsibilities:**

*Video Editor (Medium Form Content):*
- Edit and finalize raw footage into polished video content for YouTube, ensuring it reflects the creative vision of Weird City Podcast.
- Collaborate with our team to maintain a cohesive narrative across all media.
- Manage multiple projects from conception to completion under tight deadlines.

*Video Editors (Shorts Content):*
- Specialize in creating engaging short form videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Efficiently edit and deliver compelling shorts that are optimized for high engagement and virality.
- Innovate with visual and audio content to keep our shorts fresh and exciting.

*Social Media Manager:*
- Optimize our video titles, descriptions, and keywords to enhance visibility and searchability across platforms.
- Strategically manage and schedule posts to maximize reach and engagement on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement of our content strategy.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven video editing skills, with a strong portfolio that includes medium and short-form content.
- Expertise in using major editing software like Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- For the Social Media Manager: Deep understanding of SEO, keywords, and the mechanics of social media platforms.

*WORK FLOW*
We record long-form content (usually 3 hours) I edit and match audio, video is uploaded to our Google Drive where you will have access to the raw files to have the highest quality available. The long form will be broken down into smaller content, you will have the freedom to edit as you see fit, view our content and you will get an idea of how edits ideally work. If you have a style you like to implement that will work.

After edits are done, they will be uploaded to Upgrade to see actual info to be scheduled for review and posting ahead of time. The social media manager will review the files uploaded and choose the best titles, best posting time, and best metrics for engagement.

*PAY*
Weekly pay, $50 a week for video editors. 4 short videos a day should be scheduled.
Social Media Manager $60 a week

Pay will increase depending on performance. Part time during trial and full time upon finding satisfactory work
