Medical Scribe-Remote/Virtual

MEDICAL SCRIBE: Contractor/Non-US Citizen. 90 day Trial Period. Bonus Paid December-Based on Performance

Responsibilities:
1. Medical Scribe should provide documentation coverage for assigned healthcare provider, which involves listening to patient visits and utilize technology to summarize medical information and facts in professional clinical reports (History of Present Illness, Physical Exam, Results, Assessment & Plan)
2. Proficiently navigate through the healthcare software and enter clinical reports and data directly into customer software (EHR), adhering to specific clinic guidelines and workflows.
3. Maintain a high-quality standard and adhere to account-specific documentation which meets documentation requirements for our customers.
4. Be a team player, provide and receive feedback from providers, managers and successfully resolve issues.

Position Requirements:
1. Skilled in working with hospitals/clinics, healthcare documentation or similar academic backgrounds.
2. Medical scribe experience is preferred.
3. Proficiency in medical terminology.
4. Must be a professional in English writing skills; including advanced proficiency in grammatical and spelling comprehension.
5. Must have innate listening skills and ability to understand varied English accents and dialects of different countries.
6. Must be a self-motivated professional who can work independently with minimum supervision
7. This would be a complete work from home role hence proficiency over, Skype, Zoom and other video conferencing platforms is needed.
8. Trained or experienced in medical specialty for Family Medicine, will be an added advantage.
9. Familiarity with EHR like Kareo, Tebra, Epic, Athena, Nextgen, or Allscripts, experience is highly preferred.
Experience & Educational Credentials:
1. Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 or other cloud-based productivity tools.
2. Experience in medical scribing is a must.
