Position: Video Editor
Part-time: 10-15 hours per week
Reports to: Photographer

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, and similar tools
• Understand various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
• Ability to export video files into multiple formats, including “long form” (horizontal) and “short form” (vertical) styles.
• Able to utilize previously created content in future video production projects
• Clearly communicate types of needed assets to complete projects
• Knowledge of Adobe after effects and similar to add dimension, character, and feature callouts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Degree or certification in film studies, media production, or related field is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Edit video content according to provided guidelines, including trimming, transitions, audio adjustments, and color grading.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos meet Teton’s style, quality standards, and branding guidelines.
• Receive feedback throughout the creative process and make edits in a timely fashion to meet team objectives.
• Manage and organize video files and assets effectively, publishing to our asset libraries.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production.
• Meet deadlines consistently and communicate progress effectively.
