JOB OVERVIEW

This position handles administrative chores and responsibilities that support in managing all clinical-related processes and will maintain and update clinical workflow that contributes to the seamless operation of the healthcare business. This role mainly requires data entry of patient medical records and database management. Occasionally, communicates directly with patients, referral resources, staff, and physician’s office. Engage in calls with superior communication and keeping operations smoothly.

-Perform data entry helps in organizing and entering patient data accurately and promptly while following strict privacy protocols
-Transcribe medical information, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
-Assist the Intake coordinator in registering and admitting patient data into our EMR System (Electronic Medical Records). Including but not limited to handling new patient coordination.
-Act as liaison and able to communicate effectively with patients and referral resources by answering phone calls and emails courteously and respectively.
-Review documents for accuracy and completeness and update medical records.
-Assist healthcare professionals in streamlining their administrative workload.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced virtual assistants with clinical knowledge and background are preferred
Experience in a home health setting or any healthcare business is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Required to be productive under strict, small window timeframes with positive results/outcomes.
Knowledge in HIPAA compliance and experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR ) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR )
Reliable and able to obtain technical requirements.

Educational and Certificate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school/college of nursing or healthcare-related field.
