JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated web developer to assist in the development, improvement, and maintenance of our web platforms and applications. The primary focus will be on revamping our existing content hosting platforms to enhance user-friendliness and customization capabilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing support and enhancements to ensure the platforms meet evolving business needs.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for web platforms and applications.
3. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
4. Optimize performance and scalability of existing platforms through code refactoring and infrastructure improvements.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of web platforms and applications.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve our web development processes.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
8. Provide technical support and assistance to internal users as needed.

**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience in web development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
4. Strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby.
5. Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Prior experience with content management systems (CMS) or e-learning platforms is a plus.
10. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.

Working days and hours:
Full-time basis - 40 hrs/week (Mon-Fri)
Working hours: 10 am to 6:30 pm (30 min. lunch break)
14 days of Paid Annual Leave and Paid Public Holidays Benefits (all major holidays in the Philippines) included
