Australian Tax Accountant

Integral Accounting Services is an AUSTRALIAN accounting firm specialising in Accounting and Taxation. We specialise both in individual and business matters. We are registered tax agents with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board and Members of the Institute of Public Accountants. We are passionate about business and help many small to medium sized businesses with compliance, tax planning and advice.

We are seeking an experienced, successful, and high achieving Intermediate/Senior Tax Accountant to join our team full-time. This role will require you to work alongside a young, positive, and fun team, you will be utilizing your administration, organizational and relationship management skills daily as a Intermediate/Senior Tax Accountant with opportunity to grow within the organization.

Requirements of the role include:

? Preparation of financial statements.
? Preparing Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, and Companies using Xero.
? The ability to perform reconciliations of accounts.
? Preparing BAS.
? Processing clients Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation.
? Setting up of Partnerships, Trusts, and Companies
? Experience and competency using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
? High attention to detail.
? Meet and greet clients when required.
? Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
? Intimate knowledge of the workings of a professional practice.

The ideal candidate:
? Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a tax accounting role.
? High attention to detail.
? Must have excellent Xero software experience.
? Sound knowledge of Australian income tax and GST.
? Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
? Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player.
