Sales and Operations Manager

Job Summary

As a Sales and Operations Manager at our company, you play a pivotal role in establishing and optimizing our business processes, managing the local team, and driving our mission to redefine electric mobility across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a keen understanding of the automotive or motorcycle sector (a plus), and a commitment to excellence in line with our Core Values.

Responsibilities

Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.
• Continuously assess and optimize operational processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless flow of operations.

Team Leadership and Collaboration
• Lead, mentor, collaborate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Conduct and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the operations team.

Sales Development and Management
• Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Develop a deep understanding of the electric motorcycle market to identify new opportunities and trends.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to identify and target key segments.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Budget and Cost Management
• Develop and manage operational budgets in line with the organization's financial goals.
• Implement measures to control and monitor expenses, ensuring they stay within budgetary constraints.
• Regularly review and adjust expense allocations to optimize resource utilization.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of costs, pricing structures, and variable contributions to enhance financial decision-making.
• Compare the company's actual financial performance against established business plans, identifying areas of improvement or adjustment.

Supply Chain and Logistics Management
• Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

Marketing Analysis
• Identify industry trends, competitor movement, and customer demands by conducting market research.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies for products or services based on customer demand, competitor activity, and industry trends.

Customer Experience Management
• Develop strategies to enhance customer experience throughout the sales and after-sales process.
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve services and products.

Risk Management and Compliance
• Implement effective risk management strategies and protocols to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor and address operational issues or discrepancies promptly, taking corrective actions as needed.

Performance Tracking and Reporting
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of the company's overall activities and provide timely reports to Management.
• Attend Daily Check-ins and Weekly Departmental Review and Planning.

Qualifications
• Minimum three (3) years in Sales and Operations Management, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle sector.
• Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and market research.
• Strong knowledge of operations management principles and practices, including supply chain management, budgeting, sales, and customer service.
• Analytical mindset and ability to use data to drive operational decisions and continuous improvement.
• Must have experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Well-experienced in dealing or navigating with government and corporate clients.
• Well-organized, presentable, proactive, and energetic to develop sales opportunities.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed, and willing to take up challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a hands-on approach.

• Reliable Laptop or Desktop Computer.
• Stable and high-speed internet connection.
