POSITION SUMMARY

As an Appointment Setter, you play a pivotal role in our sales operations by generating leads, proactively reaching out to potential clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations, and setting appointments for our sales team. Your excellent communication skills, persuasive abilities, and attention to detail are essential for identifying qualified leads and nurturing positive relationships with prospects. Success in this role contributes directly to our business growth by ensuring a steady flow of opportunities for our sales professionals.

OBJECTIVES

• Achieve a set monthly target for qualified leads generated through outbound calls and other communication channels.
• Successfully schedule a predetermined number of qualified appointments weekly for the sales team.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using the provided scripts to communicate product or service value propositions and handle objections effectively.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of prospect information, ensuring the CRM system is consistently up to date.
• Strive for a high level of engagement and positive interactions with prospects, building rapport and interest in our offerings.
• Aim for a quick response time to inbound leads and inquiries, maximizing the chances of lead conversion.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered to articulate value propositions effectively.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas of improvement in the appointment-setting process and work towards enhancing conversion rates.
• Quickly adapt to changes in scripts, products, or procedures to align with evolving business needs.
• Efficiently organize daily tasks and prioritize activities to maximize the number of calls and appointments set.
• Ensure that individual performance goals align with broader organizational objectives, contributing to overall sales targets and revenue growth.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.


COMPETENCIES

• Ability to make 150 calls per day.
• Speak fluent English.
• Articulate product or service benefits, actively listen to prospect needs and convey information persuasively.
• Understand basic sales principles, objection handling, and closing techniques to guide conversations toward appointment setting.
• Demonstrate resilience in the face of rejection, maintaining a positive attitude and persistence throughout the calling process.
• Efficiently manage time to make a high volume of calls while maintaining quality interactions and achieving daily/weekly appointment targets.
• Navigate and effectively use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, call management tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of the products or services offered to address prospect inquiries and objections.
• Collaborate effectively with the sales team, providing valuable insights, and maintaining open communication for continuous improvement.
• Focus on achieving and exceeding set performance metrics, demonstrating a commitment to personal and team goals.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, contributing to a motivating and energetic work environment.
• Understand and empathize with prospect concerns, building rapport and trust to enhance the appointment-setting process.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of proven experience in sales-related roles or telemarketing handling a high volume of calls.
• 2 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales
• 1 year of experience with CRM software and call center technologies

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
