Logistics Specialist / Freight Forwarder

Need a logistics expert to route shipping containers from Asia to North America and the EU.

Responsible for arranging logistics, transportation, and work with freight forwarders
- work with carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and schedules.
- tracks cargo and communicates with clients throughout the shipping process.
- handle documentation and compliance requirements for international shipments.
- may provide additional services such as packaging, warehousing, and insurance.
- must stay up-to-date on regulations and industry trends.
- handle any issues or delays that may arise during transportation.
- ensure that shipments arrive on time and at the desired destination.

Experience and Education Requirements
Requires a mix of education and experience.
College degree is required
4 years minimum experience in logistics and container cargo transportation.
Freight Forwarder experience desired
Additional training or coursework in logistics or transportation in the transportation industry is required
Requires hybrid work schedule to overlap with USA timezones or work entire with USA timezones.
