Social Media Video Editor

I'm looking for a talented, proactive, motivated video editor to edit pre-recorded videos into social media content post formats (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and Facebook) that will grow following, brand, and engagement. Directions for application are below - please follow them exclusively.

Responsibilities
- Trim and edit recorded footage into social media content posts
- Provide feedback and accountability to members of your remote team
- Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Execute editing for different video styles (long-form video podcast, medium form videos (2-6 minutes) short form reels and stories (15-60 seconds))
- Manage video, audio, and dynamic effects to deliver a professional video
- Create covers for IG reels and Youtube thumbnails
- Create rough and final cuts
- Consult with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers from pre-production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and product quality

Requirements
- English fluency
- Strong communication with remote teammates
- Takes initiative and is proactive
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Strong knowledge of the tools needed to complete the editing tasks expected (software used, media tools, captioning tools, etc.)
- Creative mind and strong visual aesthetic
- Strong work ethic
- Always looking to learn new ways to be great at your craft
- Reliable and trustworthy
