This is not your typical contractor position.  Most contractor positions are repetitive, don’t fully integrate you into their environment, and fail to help you advance your skills and professional development.  This is because neither the MSP nor the contractor are set up for success.
Kalutasan is different.  Kalutasan is owned and operated by highly successful former MSP owners.  While they owned and operated their MSP, they successfully worked with many contractors from the Philippines.  Not only were they able to provide incredible value to their clients, but they helped their contracted employees advance in their careers.  Kalutasan understands that you are an extremely valuable asset, and care must be taken to invest in your professional development.  Kalutasan will provide you with training materials and video-based study aids.  Kalutasan will also reimburse you for exams you pass as you achieve technical certifications (ex. Comptia A+, Comptia Network +, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Cybersecurity certs).
In addition, Kalutasan doesn’t work with all MSPs.  Prior to engaging in a contractor support position, they review the management structure, processes, and systems at the MSP, to be sure they are ready to work with contracted employees.  Only then, will Kalutasan provide them with qualified candidates.

About You
We are looking for a well-rounded, MSP experienced engineer to work with a great MSP in the United States. We offer competitive pay, paid time off, offer training, and pay for certifications. This is a great role for someone who has MSP experience, and wants to play a bigger role in an MSP, where they can build on their current skills and make valuable contributions to the company. Hours are 3PM-11PM, or 3AM-11AM Philippine Standard Time.

Skills must include:
3+ years MSP experience
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Advanced experience with Connectwise Automate (or similar RMM)
Experience writing scripts, and using them in RMM tool to deploy tools, software, and configurations
Experience using Connectwise Automate to manage back-end operations, including patching, AV, and monitoring
Backup management, remediation, backup and restores - Datto preferred
Expert MS365 management, SharePoint administration

Experience with:
-Email migration
-Active Directory setup and troubleshooting
-Entra/Azure AD
-VMWare/Hyper-V
-Azure/AWS
-Windows server configurations and migrations
-Firewall/VPN setup
-VLAN configuration
-Network troubleshooting
