JOB OVERVIEW

Core Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Record financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets, such as invoices, receipts, payments, and bank deposits.
- Updating and collating and making sure timesheets are done promptly
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of transactions.
- Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
- Generate invoices for goods or services provided to clients or customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on overdue invoices to facilitate timely collections.
- Calculate and process employee payroll, including wages, bonuses, taxes, and deductions.


Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills
- Minimum 2.5 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk, with strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Weekly business reports
- Cash flow/forecasting and updating budget (can be done in Xero)
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero (must need this), and Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and financial calculations.
- Nice to have (not must) - leveraging knowledge of AI functionality to make the process more efficient and effective
- Knowledge of MS Teams
- Maintain leave records and cross-check with Xero for payroll
