Romexterra Construction Inc is a well-established construction company that specializes in restoration projects (damage from fire, floods, mold, storms, etc.) for commercial and residential buildings in the Chicago, Illinois, USA area. With a strong track record of delivering high-quality workmanship and providing exceptional customer service, Romexterra Construction Inc has become a trusted name in the industry.
We are a growing company and are looking for a designated Recruiter who specializes in candidate generation, screening, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding US employees in the construction industry. This role will involve recruiting all types of positions, from a general laborer to a high-level manager.

Job Description:
The Recruiter is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's hiring functions and strategies.
1. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and employment standards.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy.
4. Conduct succession planning and talent development programs.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives align with overall company goals.
This is a role that is open to growth, and job duties may change based on need and opportunity.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Required:
1. Proven experience as a Talen Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, Hiring Manager, or similar role.
2. Thorough understanding of US labor laws and employment standards, Illinois-specific laws preferred but not required.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
6. Knowledge of HR best practices and trends.
7. Proficiency in Google Workspace and HRIS software.
8. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, managers, and candidates.
9. Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
