Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends and user engagement, particularly on TikTok, as well as proficiency on other platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager to craft engaging video content that resonates with our audience and amplifies our brand message.

Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting on various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Work closely with the Social Media Manager to understand and execute content objectives.
Ensure seamless transitions, engaging effects, and impeccable timing to maximize viewer engagement.
Suggest creative ways to enhance video content based on analytics and trending formats.
Manage and organize all digital files, ensuring all media is backed up and cataloged for easy access.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing skills, particularly in creating engaging content for TikTok.
Expertise in video editing software such as Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
A keen eye for aesthetics and details, with the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
Understanding of the latest social media trends, particularly in the food and lifestyle sector.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to receive constructive feedback.
