Sprinkler Designer

Job Description:
RemoteVA PH is seeking a talented Sprinkler Designer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be experienced in designing SP drawings and possess advanced knowledge of sprinkler systems. Familiarity with NYC codes is a definite advantage. As a Sprinkler Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating designs that meet safety standards and regulatory requirements while ensuring efficient and effective sprinkler system installations.


Key Responsibilities:
-Develop SP drawings for sprinkler system installations.
-Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and specifications.
-Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and regulations, with particular attention to NYC standards.
-Utilize CAD and Revit software to create accurate and detailed designs.
-Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate sprinkler systems seamlessly into building plans.
-Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to assess project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
-Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to sprinkler system design and installation.

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Sprinkler Designer or similar role, with a focus on SP drawings.
-Advanced knowledge of sprinkler systems and their design principles.
-Proficiency in CAD and Revit software for creating and modifying designs.
-Familiarity with NYC building codes and regulations preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field preferred.

Working Schedule
-Work full-time from 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
