IT System Administrator different Technologies

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.

Install, configure, and update hardware and software components.

Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of IT services.

Provide troubleshooting and support for IT users.

Implement security measures and data protection policies, including regular security
checks and updates.

Perform backups and data recovery in case of emergencies.

Manage user accounts and access rights according to company policies.

Document IT systems, configurations, and processes.

Requirements:

Student or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience in system administration

Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems installation and configuration.

Experience with network technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.

Familiarity with virtualization technology (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and software issues.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Qualifications:

Certifications in relevant technologies or willing to do the certification (e.g., Microsoft
Certified Systems Administrator, CompTIA A+).

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of IT security measures and best practices.

Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) is a plus.

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)

Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
