Position Overview

This position’s primary focus is to create an organized and supportive environment to help grow the business at Upgrade to see actual info. THIS POSITION STARTS AT 10 HOURS PER WEEK WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW.

Leanne has 2 businesses:
Trainer and speaker on LinkedIn and personal branding - the VA would serve as a support for Leanne to help her stay organized and on task as she creates new content (both paid and free) to support her customers and potential customers.
Global Accounts manager at ConferenceDirect - Leanne negotiates contracts between hotels and meeting/conference planners. The VA’s role would be administrative related.

This is a virtual position and every week will look different. Some weeks may have more tasks than others, so flexibility with package pricing and availability of the VA is a plus!

Duties and Responsibilities
Our Virtual Assistant will be responsible for ongoing support for our business and our team. Employment of VA will grow as the relationship and responsibilities grow.

First phase- part time work, from 10-20 hours per week:
The start of the business relationship will include the following responsibilities for Leanne Upgrade to see actual info:
Upload and edit of blog posts in Wordpress
Edit social media posts
Post on social media channels using Scheduler inside of FEA Create (CRM tool)
Follow up on LinkedIn connections and activity
Create social media assets, PDFs and presentations inside of Canva
Input of data into CRMs including FEA Create,

The start of the business relationship will include the following responsibilities for ConferenceDirect:
Input of contract data into Upgrade to see actual info
Input of data in ConferenceDirect’s Office management system
Input of data into Cvent


Second phase work as systems are created by Leanne:

Email
and calendar management
Asana project creation and management
CapCut - Instagram reels editing
Copywriting for Leanne

Above all, Leanne is looking for someone that can help grow her business as a trainer and speaker. Your valuable insights, feedback, ideas, best practices, inspiration and problem solving are not only welcome, but HIGHLY encouraged! Your valuable insights may just be what she needs to elevate her business!

Virtual Assistant MUST HAVE proficiency with the following applications:*
Asana - task management
Google Suite (GMail, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Calendar),

High proficiency in the English language
Willingness to learn and work with:*
WhatsApp - to communicate with Leanne

FEA Create (CRM tool for Upgrade to see actual info business)
ConferenceDirect Office and Cvent (Leanne will teach)

CapCut

It would be great if the VA had experience in (nice to have but not mandatory):
Video editing experience and tools
Instagram Reels experience, editing and advice
Copywriting

Standard Operating Procedures - Leanne has created SOPs that detail, step by step, how to do a task, including the systems and tools required to complete the task.
WhatsApp - Leanne is only a WhatsApp message away to help with troubleshooting!
LastPass - Leanne uses LastPass to share passwords that provide access into platforms
Canva Templates - Leanne and her team have created a number of templates over the years, there’s no need to re-create any style wheels here!
Style Guide - Leanne’s style guide includes her fonts, colours, logos and other details required to create new materials

The Virtual Assistant position will grow to have a strong pulse on the business while focusing on the specific action items that keep the business moving forward on a daily basis. If you feel you are a fit for the team, see the details below!

Meet Leanne
Leanne is a LinkedIn and personal branding training specifically in the meetings, events, hotel and hospitality space. She has recently pivoted her messaging to apply to introverts as well. She has spent the last 25 years as a meeting planner and site selection professional in the Canadian meetings market. Leanne runs a blog at Upgrade to see actual info and video channel on YouTube to help professionals with their day, career and life. Leanne has numerous appearances on meetings and events industry podcasts, live shows and publications.
