Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Remote Social Media Manager to join our team. This individual will be instrumental in increasing our brand’s online presence and engagement, mainly through Reddit and various online forums. This role is ideal for those who excel at creating compelling content and fostering community interactions in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase visibility and engagement across Reddit and other relevant forums.
• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written).
• Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
• Relay customer sentiment back to our development team.
• Follow a set posting cadence using a calendar
• Oversee design (i.e., social media graphics for covers, profiles, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, etc.).
• Compile reports for management showing results and ROI.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field.
• Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, demonstrating why their ideas are analytically sound.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable and experienced with posting on Reddit and engaging in online forums.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) focusing on Reddit.
• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
