The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently while also assisting with administrative duties. If you have a strong grasp of financial processes, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
-Maintain accurate financial records using manual methods (Excel, Google Sheets) and potentially transition to automated tools.
-Record daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
-Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
-Prepare financial reports (profit and loss statements, balance sheets, etc.).
-Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash.
-Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Payroll:
-Process payroll for staff members.
-Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
-Handle payroll tax compliance and reporting.
Administrative Tasks:
-Respond to
-Manage the company calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
-Assist with basic office tasks (filing, data entry, etc.).
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
-Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
-Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and basic accounting principles.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Proficient in using spreadsheets and accounting software.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
-Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
