The Position
We are looking for a Full-time Web Developer
You will be the next addition to our dynamic team. You will be a great fit if you can communicate well, develop sites quickly, efficiently, and effectively, work well in a team, and are committed to continuous improvement. Strong graphic design skills are a bonus. This role is responsible for the development and editing of WordPress sites for home service businesses. The person for this role must ensure that all deliverables are done with superior quality at the expected time frame and at the full satisfaction of our clients.
Duties (but not limited to):
-WordPress Development (using Elementor)
-Develop unique pages and designs that are both mobile friendly, mobile responsive, and user-centric
-Create user-friendly websites
-Able to manage multiple projects
-Must communicate effectively with the team
-Daily project reporting
What We Are Looking For:
-Create user-friendly websites (good for SEO, UX)
-Experience in designing and developing responsive WordPress websites (fast, SEO friendly)
-At least 3 years of solid development experience with WordPress (front-end, back-end, plug-ins)
-Experience setting up development environments
-Familiarity with code versioning tools
-Knowledge of security controls
-Knowledge implementing ADA compliance
-Experience with PHP development and framework
-Working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
-Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
-Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
-Working experience in graphic designs (Figma, Adobe Photoshop)
-Self driven and able to work without immediate supervision
-Have a friendly, collaborative approach
-Have superior problem-solving skills
-Be detail-oriented and keen on accuracy
-Be highly creative and tech-savvy.
-Have high ethical standards and commitment to client success
-Be committed to learn and continue to grow with the business over time
-Ability to learn new systems/ processes quickly
-Excellent team culture mindset

What We Require
Full time (40 hours a week)- two months probationary status
Ability to work in the Atlantic time zone (between 9:00am- 5:00pm) with zero issues.
