JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified loan processor to partner with and support our existing lending team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting information internally and structuring this information in line with our documentation guidelines, allowing us to make informed lending decisions and recommendations. Once all of the relevant documentation has been gathered and stored electronically within our secure portal, the loan processor will review client’s documentation in an effort to pre-qualify and determine their options, working collaboratively with the lending specialist to tailor recommendations that will suit the clients short, medium and long-term goals.

The clients will subsequently review and discuss the recommendations made by the lending specialist and dUpgrade to see actual info on the best course of action, choosing a lender and finalising the lending structure.

Following the clients meeting with the lending specialist and once a suitable lender has been chosen, the loan processor will action the client and brokers instructions to prepare the application forms for submission, completing AOL, updating notes, supporting documents, servicing calculations and framing all of the lender specific documents prior to uploading all relevant and completed supporting documents to AOL for submission. Once completed, the lending specialist will then review and submit the loan.

Throughout the loan application process, the remote executive may be asked to follow up lenders for updates and assist the lending specialist with provision of supporting documents in the event that missing information is required.

Objectives of this role

Support our on-site Lending Specialists and Administration team in the gathering and documentation process.
Meticulously gather and save documents and information without errors, formatted to our company process and policy standards
Acting as a Pre-Credit Assessor , ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
Adhere to tight deadlines, working quickly but carefully.
Uphold company privacy, integrity and reputation by carefully reviewing all information and adhering to procedures and regulations.
Create strong and lasting relationships with our team of lending specialists and on site administration team
Responsibilities

Review initial data gathered during the 1st appointment to get a sense of the applicants financial situation
Format all supporting documents to mirror the company standard document storage guidelines
Collect necessary data from the broker to ensure Pre Assessment can be completed successfully
Perform credit background checks and complete initial Pre-Credit checklists
Complete Quickli Servicing Checks prior to handover to lending specialists in preparation for 2nd interviews
Following 2nd Interviews with clients the lending specialist will provide you with an update and hand back the file for processing
Update Mercury and AOL with recommendations, ensuring compliance pillars are complete and compliant
Review loan applications prior to submission, ensuring that all sections are complete and accurate, correcting any potential mistakes
Work with lenders to streamline the application process.
Keep an open line of contact with our lending specialists and local loan administrators


Skills and qualifications

Excellent communication skills, with a focus on high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong research capabilities with resourcefulness and willingness to develop pre – credit knowledge
Thorough understanding of the loan application process as well compliance obligations
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and understand priorities
Integrity and confidentiality when it comes to handling sensitive information
Ability to work collaboratively with lending specialists and on site loan administrators
Preferred qualifications

Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience in loan processing
Working knowledge of lending software specifically Mercury, Client Centre, Document Centre, Quickli and AOL
Thorough knowledge and experience with lender servicing calculators, lender documentation and policy
