JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing US-based family-owned automotive-repair organization looking to add a new member to our accounting/bookkeeping team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

a. Coaching & Training teaUpgrade to see actual infombers including new hires

b. Creates strategies to optimize workflow

c. Coordinates with Shop Managers and other stakeholders

d. Address issues and challenges such as discrepancies in accounts

e. Encourage the team, understand their weak and strong qualities, and develop their skills

f. Special project involvement such as Automations, Vendor Reconciliations

g. Month end activities and issues related to it

h. Proactively review statuses of open items

i. Track productivity by Entity & Individual level

j. Right hand to Manager – covers him/her in calls, presentation, issues, escalation etc.

k. Distribution of tasks to AP Associates as assigned by Manager

l. Build & maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external functions

m. Assist in reconciling account transactions with the general ledger

n. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

o. Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

b. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. With QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.

c. Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.

d. Excellent supervisory and analytical skills.

e. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

f. Ability to motivate staff.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, three to four years of accounting experience with at least two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. With US Client Experience is a plus but not required.

We are an agile organization always looking to improve our systems/processes and seeking a candidate who likes to continually learn and leverage new technology. After guidance and training, this person will work on understanding how the current workflow functions and make suggestions to improve, then develop new workflows, checklists, and systems to implement these changes.

We are only seeking a full-time candidate for a long-term position. The schedule is US EST 8 am-5 pm.
