Account Support - with AppFolio Experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and experience, particularly with AppFolio software. The Accounting Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance.


Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner using AppFolio software.
Assist with accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
Provide support for general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Assist with audits and other financial inquiries as needed.
Collaborate with other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and AppFolio software updates to ensure compliance and optimize system usage.


Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
Proficiency in using AppFolio or other property management software is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
A solid understanding of GAAP is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
