JOB OVERVIEW

Do you have a lot of paralegal experience and expertise in US Law and real estate contracts? Are you capable of handling large work volumes quickly yet comprehensively and precisely? Do you have a network of US lawyers you've worked with that you still have good relations with today?
We are a land investment company who buys and sells raw land. We utilize promissory notes, land sale contracts, and contracts for the sale and purchase of real estate. More legal documents related to these matters will come up intermittently and will need your review.
We expect you to bring a personal network of lawyers you can tap into for clarifications when/if needed. We will consider a working relationship with one of these preferred attorneys if needed.
Work will be remote and mostly via email/text/slack communication channels; work does not necessarily have to be during US Eastern time where we are located; we are flexible and there is autonomy to handle responsibilities as you see fit, however, task integrity dictates the high quality responsiveness and professionalism you'll see in our teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
We expect strong attention to detail. The pay rate listed in this ad is to assess attention to detail knowing that this skill will lead you to find within the listing that the pay rate is actually negotiable. Please use 'green leaves' in your reply to this job. Work is intermittent 'gig' assignments that do not fall within the full or part time norm. If a task comes up that needs more hours then we would be open to negotiation at that time.
We expect excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional conduct, timely correspondence, legal proficiency and confidence. This looks like excellent legal research and investigation skills, case management experience and skills, time management and organizational skills, critical thinking, interpersonal relations, analytical problem-solving, discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality, be able to meet deadlines, multitask, project management, time management, and excellent team work.
Education and experience requirements include an AA from an ABA approved paralegal program, or certification from US Paralegal Associations.

Thank you so much for considering this job. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
