Position Overview:
Vital Virtuals LLC is currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Dental Scribe Virtual Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental terminology, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment. As a Dental Scribe Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting dental providers with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters.

Responsibilities:

Accurately transcribe and document patient interactions, treatment plans, and procedures during dental appointments.
Ensure timely and thorough documentation of patient histories, examinations, and treatment details in electronic health records (EHR) or dental practice management software.
Collaborate closely with dental providers to capture all relevant information and maintain accurate patient records.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and communicating with patients as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Review and edit transcribed reports for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and industry trends to ensure accurate documentation.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Dental Scribe or similar role in a dental setting.
Excellent knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
Strong typing skills and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) or dental practice management software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certification as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assisting program.
Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual healthcare services.
Familiarity with dental coding and billing processes.
