Shopify Web Developer / Web Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Shopify Web Developer / Web Designer with strong coding skills to join our team. This role involves creating Shopify websites from scratch as well as reconstructing and redesigning existing sites. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of web development and design principles and a proven ability to deliver compelling and functional online experiences.

Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and launch new websites on the Shopify platform, emphasizing clean, efficient code along with innovative design.
-Reconstruct and redesign existing Shopify websites to elevate user experience and site performance.
-Work closely with the CEO to ensure that websites align with brand strategy and exceed standards of user engagement and functionality.
-Ensure optimal website performance for speed and scalability while maintaining responsive and adaptive design standards.
-Perform detailed testing of websites to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
-Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in web development and Shopify technologies.

Qualifications:

-At least 2 years of proven experience in Shopify development and design.
-Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages.
-Exceptional visual design skills with a deep understanding of user-system interaction.
-Demonstrated ability to write clean, readable, and effective code.
-Creative problem-solving skills, with a capacity to deliver practical and innovative solutions.
-Excellent communication abilities, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
-A bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability to work during United States (PST) business hours.
