Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Short Video Editor to join our team. As a Short Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and impactful short-form videos for Top 5 platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat and you will work closely with our team to bring their vision to life through editing, motion graphics, and sound design. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling, excellent technical skills in editing software, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Team Leader and Head of Content to understand project objectives and vision.
2. Edit raw footage into high-quality short-form videos that align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
3. Understands how to use viral, visual and audio hooks.
4. Can proficiently ensure that subtitles flow smoothly, are clear and easy to understand.
5. Has the ability to repurpose content to create new videos.
6. Enhance videos with motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to elevate the storytelling.
7. Ensure seamless transitions, pacing, and continuity throughout the videos.
8. Select and integrate suitable music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the narrative.
9. Optimize videos for various platforms and formats.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and storytelling techniques.
11. Begin your subject line with "Zurich" to show us you've read everything.
12. Maintain organized file management for efficient project collaboration and asset retrieval.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a focus on short-form content.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Capcut.
3. Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
4. Solid grasp of motion graphics and visual effects techniques.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
6. Ability to take constructive feedback and revise the video accordingly.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
