SEO Specialist

We are a company selling lighting and furniture online through multiple online websites. We are looking to hire an expert in Search Engine Optimization to assist us in taking on the SEO responsibilities as well as marketing responsibilities. This is a full-time role and requires working via screen sharing software.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive SEO Analysis including areas to improve and/or growth strategies.
- Create engaging and SEO-optimized copy for our websites, products titles/descriptions, blog posts, landing pages, social media accounts, and other digital platforms
- Content Creation and Copywriting
- Off page SEO strategies, including creating high quality back links to increase domain authority
- On page SEO optimization on both Wordpress and Shopify platforms
- Google Analytics - ability to analyze trends, recommend improvements, and produce reports showing SEO stats
- Google Search Console with ability to fix GSC errors, Google Ads and google free listings
- Keyword research - identifying best relevant keywords / phrases for our products & services
- Create and Optimize YouTube videos
- Competitor keyword research
- Besides these main responsibilities, you may also be required to assist in administrative work which may be assigned at times under our direction.

Requirements:
- Experience with WordPress WooCommerce and Shopify
- Highly organized and excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to edit captions, product descriptions, and blogs to incorporate keywords/phrases and optimize them for SEO
- Proven experience as an online SEO specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing writing samples and SEO-optimized content.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
- Commitment to work full time 40 hours per week
- Ability to work independently via screen sharing software

This is for a full time position, and working hours are 9AM-6 PM Philippines time Mon-Fri with 1 hour lunch break.

We will be required to complete an unpaid simple trial work task to ascertain you have the necessary skills to fulfil the work requirements. The job will start with a 1 week trial period to see how well you accomplish the first few tasks. If the performance is exceptional I will hire you on a long-term basis.
