Sandhill Markets provides a platform for accredited investors to easily buy and sell shares of the top pre-IPO companies worldwide. We curate a daily(ish) newsletter and host live events weekly to keep our audience engaged and informed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team and amplify the content we create across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and have a keen understanding of the financial institutions/venture capital ecosystem.

Start Date: End of April, beginning of May
Time Commitment: 10/hours a week

Personal Description:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
Is a self described social media wizard
Organized and responsive
Strong ability to work independently and follow instructions asynchronously

Canva

Twitter
LinkedIn
Typefully (social scheduler)
Luma ( live events builder)

Key Responsibilities:
- Write engaging social media copy for Sandhill Markets' posts across platforms.
- Identify and manage all social media accounts associated with guests, websites, and funds featured in our content.
- Create cross-linked bios to enhance engagement and networking opportunities.
- Develop visually appealing assets using Canva.
- Assist in creating basic presentations for live events.
- Support live events and podcasts for both Sandhill Markets and our clients.

Qualifications:
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in Canva and social media platforms (Twitter and Upgrade to see actual info specifically )
- Basic understanding of venture capital and financial institutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with financial institutions/venture capital ecosystem (is a plus)
