WordPress / Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress / Frontend developer to join our team and play a key role in our web development projects while working remotely.

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification through developing, testing, and launching.

Ultimately, you should be able to work and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.

Remote work for a company based in Singapore.
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm SG Time

Responsibilities

*Conceptualize, construct, and customize WordPress plugins to align with specific project needs. Ensure seamless compatibility of plugins across diverse WordPress versions and harmonize with other plugins/themes.

*Devote attention to crafting robust and optimized PHP code for WordPress, seamlessly integrating plugins into the core. Uphold alignment with best practices to enhance overall system integrity.

*Develop user-friendly plugin interfaces and features, ensuring seamless alignment with frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Guarantee responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility for all plugin features.

* Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions

*Regularly enhance and refine existing plugins to incorporate new features, boost performance, and address any potential security vulnerabilities.

*Facilitate efficient communication and integration of plugins with external data services and APIs, emphasizing optimization for performance and an enhanced user experience.

*Effectively manage the complete plugin development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to thorough testing, release, and ongoing post-launch support.

*Implement rigorous testing methodologies to guarantee the functionality and compatibility of plugins across diverse environments. Proactively address and resolve any identified bugs or issues.

*Develop detailed documentation outlining plugin features, configuration options, and key development decisions. This serves as a valuable resource for both end-users and fellow developers.

*Stay abreast of the latest WordPress updates, advancements in plugin development techniques, security protocols, and front-end technologies.


Requirements:
* Must be good and fluent in English
* Proven professional proficiency in WordPress plugin development, architecture, and commitment to industry standards.
* Extensive experience in contemporary PHP development, demonstrating knowledge of standards, testing frameworks, optimization techniques, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Composer, and PHPUnit.
* Ability to identify and implement MySQL optimizations, including expertise in table indexing, schema design, and optimizing multi-table relationships.
* Demonstrated expertise in Agile Development methodologies, encompassing Scrum and Kanban.
* In-depth knowledge of creating, integrating, and managing RESTful APIs. Essential familiarity with authentication, authorization, and JSON communication. Experience with third-party APIs such as Stripe, Google, etc is preferred.
* Commanding proficiency in front-end technologies, including standards, testing frameworks, and optimization strategies. Familiarity with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and associated tools like NPM, Gulp, and Webpack
* Skillful use of version control systems, especially Git and SVN. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices is a prerequisite.
* Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Fast learner, Hardworking, willing to learn, and able to handle the workload
* Good communication skills
* Strong and stable internet connection


Remarks:
1. At least 40 hours per week (5 days per week);
2. We will use any of these tools for communication: Email, Skype, Zoom, Upgrade to see actual info and/or Whatsapp
3. Salary will be paid through Paypal at the end of the month. NO EXCEPTIONS.
