Job Description:
The Program Outreach Coordinator plays a pivotal role in connecting the community with GEM Centers' enriching educational and community programs. This individual will be responsible for reaching out to parents and prospective participants through calls and texts, using our CRM system to manage communications effectively. The main goal is to schedule appointments with program managers, facilitating a seamless introduction to various programs such as after-school activities, academic enrichment, college readiness, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the CRM system to track and manage communication with prospective program participants.
- Conduct outreach via phone calls and SMS to discuss program offerings and gauge interest.
- Schedule appointments between parents/prospective participants and program managers.
- Maintain a high level of organization and follow-up to ensure prospective participants receive timely and accurate information.
- Collaborate with program managers to understand the specifics of each program offering.
- Participate in training and tea
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM software and telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach and a strong team player.
- Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Education:
High school diploma required; further education or certification in communication or related fields is preferred.
