Position Overview:
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee and create captivating content across Instagram,
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create four unique social media posts per week on each platform (Instagram Feed, Instagram Story,
Draft, schedule, and submit posts for approval by Thursday 5pm EST every week.
Curate content from our Google Drive library and incoming content from the team.
Tailor content to meet platform-specific guidelines and optimize engagement.
Utilize Loomly App for post scheduling and analytics tracking.
Compile weekly analytics reports detailing post performance.
Content Creation Process:
Retrieve content from our library and incoming
Research conservation topics related to African elephants.
Utilize content from Elephant Havens' website, blogs, and social media pages.
Develop informative and impactful content to educate, entertain, and inspire.
Post Scheduling and Approval:
Use Loomly app for post scheduling and submission.
Schedule posts Monday-Thursday at 9am EST.
Submit posts for approval by Thursday 5pm EST.
Reporting:
Generate weekly analytics reports including engagement metrics and follower growth.
Your KPI’s will be: engagement, website traffic, and donations.
Send weekly invoice for hours worked.

Compensation:
Compensation rate: Up to $9/hour USD.
Hours: 3 hours per week (12 hours per month), equivalent up to $108 USD/month.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
Passion for wildlife conservation and storytelling.
Experience with content creation and scheduling tools.
Must have previous social media management and content creation experience.
Note: This position is remote and requires self-motivation and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and drive impact through digital media.
