MERN Stack Application Developer

We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer who thrives in an Agile environment and has experience with Azure services. The successful candidate will develop full-stack applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), following user stories and leveraging Azure as the primary development and deployment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Development: Develop web applications based on user stories within an Agile framework, ensuring that all features meet business and user requirements.
Full-Stack Implementation: Build, test, and deploy scalable and efficient web solutions using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Azure Integration: Utilize Azure cloud services for deploying and managing applications, ensuring high availability and scalability.
API Development and Management: Create and manage well-designed, scalable, and efficient RESTful APIs.
Collaborative Team Work: Work closely with product owners, scrum masters, and other developers to refine user stories and acceptances criteria, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices, enhancing the development pipeline and increasing the release frequency.
Security Best Practices: Apply security best practices throughout the application development lifecycle, particularly in database management and API accessibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Solid experience as a developer working with the MERN stack.
Proven ability to develop and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Flux.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
Effective communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
